The Case Study: Getmapping

Getmapping is the UK’s leading supplier of mapping products and data hosting solutions. They are also passionate about encouraging safe environments as we venture from our homes, and their Getsensing solution makes non-invasive pre-screening a valid option for every business.

The Getsensing range of affordable AI powered camera solutions is designed to aid safety compliance for employees, customers and visitors. However, the holding company, Getmapping, recognised that they needed to demonstrate why their product was superior to other options on the market so contacted Take One to discuss the possibility of filming safely during Covid-19 in order to get their product out to as wide an audience as possible.

What we Did

The Take One team organise a virtual discovery meeting to find out what the differentiators of the product were, who and where the target audience were. After agreeing the key benefits offered by the Getsensing solution a script was prepared for voice over delivery and a shot list of visuals to support the ease of use and customer benefits. The Getsensing EBT camera uses powerful AI algorithms which can be customised to meet the specific requirements of a business, be that wearing of masks, hard hats or temperature scans.  With that in mind, we arranged to film the product being set up and used in a suitable location over one day of filming. We then created a style format for on screen graphics, recorded the voice over, added music and cut the visuals to support the words.

The Outcome:

The completed programme was used to launch a campaign on line using LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter as well as communications with existing customers. The European Marketing Director at Getmapping said the whole team were highly delighted with the end result, and are now looking to use Take One for video product promotion with more of their products.
