Using video to prove solicitors are human too!

Coyle White Devine (CWD) are solicitors specialising in litigation work, high-end entertainment law, and mediation services. Based in Amersham, and with an office in London Office, they are a successful company keen to raise their profile, increase hits on their website and grow the business.

CWD have a modern approach and like to do things that are a little bit different, setting them apart from the rest. During their marketing planning process they set an objective of doing something to communicate who CWD are and what they do for potential clients – showcasing the qualities of the people behind the names and allowing prospects to “meet” them virtually.

Meet the Coyle White Devine Team

Additional key objectives were to:
• Raise the profile of CWD above that of larger high street and other legal practices, particularly those based in London.
• Enable prospective clients to see why CWD are passionate about what they do and why they are different from the competition.

Always keen to spend their marketing budget wisely, CWD were determined that the project deliver measurable results.

After considering a range of options, CWD decided to invest in the production of a short promotional video, created and produced by Take One TV. The video includes advocacy pieces from clients, demonstrates the quality of the service and, crucially, reveals the personalities behind the business and the ethos of the company. The video is featured on CWD’s website so that potential clients can be directed to it and encouraged to feel comfortable enough to call for a meeting.

A video with demonstrable results!
CWD Director Peter Coyle commented, “The video has made a crucial difference to our business. We had a client come to us who had scoured the internet and looked at 23 different solicitors in the region. He chose us specifically because of the video on the website and said that he hadn’t seen anything like it anywhere else. Furthermore, to date, we’ve actually had five or six pieces of new business as a direct result.”

Commenting on the professionalism of Take One TV and the experience of working with them, Coyle continued, “Take One were a pleasure to work with. After talking through what we wanted to achieve they allowed us a day’s filming. Of course, being in front of the camera was a bit daunting at first, but they helped us get comfortable and it ended up being a very enjoyable day. The video was finished and delivered quickly. They are lovely people; highly skilled and creative – I would happily use them again. It’s been the best bit of marketing spend we’ve ever made.” And true to his word, Coyle White Devine have again been on video with Take One this year making video profile pieces to highlight specific skillsets in their business and introduce clients to the faces behind the names through their website and video newsletters.
